Our guests love the food on Wapping Wharf but its about to get even better...

Flora and Robin, the husband and wife team behind The Pickled Brisket have added to their already popular salt beef menu - a classic comfort food; grilled cheese. They've always loved a good grilled cheese sandwich, enjoying it at London's Borough Market, at their street food friends stall, For Mice & Men and as a staple afternoon snack at home with their family. They wanted to create a grilled cheese menu with a difference at their container at Wapping Wharf.

The benefits of having premises at Wapping Wharf include the sense of community and having so many excellent local independent suppliers and producers on their doorstop. To help reflect this sense of community, The Pickled Brisket are now offering a grilled cheese option using ingredients from their foodie neighbours including sourdough rye from Assembly Bakery, cheese from The Bristol Cheesemonger and finished with Ostler's cloudy cider vinegar sourced from Better Food. When their customers try this menu option they will be supporting the Wapping Wharf community as a whole.

At the Wapping Wharf Christmas party on Saturday December 2nd kids can eat a Cargo Grilled Cheese for free with an adult eater (one child under 12 years per one adult). They will also have their new Pastrami Turkey Reuben on the menu, the full festive range of sauces from local producer, Gingerbeard's Preserves and cards by local artists, Sandra Moore and Bethany Jane Wall.

Cargo Grilled Cheese is £4.50. You can build your own cheese feast with sauces of your choice (house Russian dressing, Gingerbeard's Preserves mustard and chipotle ketchup) plus various toppings including pickled jalapenos, pickled red cabbage, pickled cucumbers, sauerkraut, Rosie from the Bristol Cheesemonger's guest cheese and of course - salt beef.
